I am going to Christ Church Secondary for my practicum.

GESL Flag Day

Had our final task for GESL today which is the Flag Day.

I was allocated at the Woodlands Regional Library Collection Centre, manning the distribution and collection of the donation tins.

Two schools reported to our centre which were Fajar Secondary and Marsiling Sec.

Which made me wonder...maybe one of my Saturdays will be burnt taking care of students doing their Community Involvement Project hours. =P

We were too busy when the students were around so sorry of the lack of pictures then. =)

Training Workshop

One of the items on sale is the Fleur Brooch. Fleur is Flower in french.

Design is self created by Nurul Ain, my sister.

So we had a one-hour training workshop yesterday on how to make one for our group members.

Semester 2

Down with the 2nd week of the 6 weeks left in NIE before we proceed for our practicum.

I had to produce a lesson plan on Comparison Shopping which was due yesterday and a CA paper on Consumer Education module next week.

We also have an entreprenuership project, which my group which comprises of Hidayah, Fattasha, Nadira, Nurul Ain [my sister] and myself.

We have opened up our FaceBook Page and named ourselves NUR SCARFLET.

As the name goes, we will be selling scarves, shawls, bandannas and brooches.

Back from hiatus..picture sharing from the last microteaching sessions.

Microteaching Lesson 3

First and foremost, I would like to give credits to Teo Si Ni as I had to use her photos for this blog entry.

Microteaching Lesson 3 was conducted by ShiJia, Nur, Khaty, Xi Ling, Angela and Myself.

It was a hectic busy session, I had no time to take photos for my own.

Our topic was on Fruits and Vegetables.

Our theme was Western Garden Party.

First dish was the carrot cake by Shi Jia and Nur. definitely a high fibre dish..but can I say I love the cream cheese frosting more..hehehe..

Second dish was the Garden Veggie Roll by Xi Ling and Kathy. I tasted this during our trial cooking, thought that it tasted good.

Next dish is the Broccoli, Leek and Mushroom Cheese Soup.

And lastly is the fruit trifle, done by myself . =)
